1. Hold a sheet of paper with the short edge on top.
2. Fold paper in half, bottom to top. Draw a horizontal line 1 inch from the top.
3. Cut through the fold, up to the line, in 1/2-inch strips.
4. Unfold paper, wrap in a cylinder and glue the edges together.
5. Attach an extra strip of paper to the top, making a loop to hang on the tree.
